Daniel Laryea (lorlor) and Bridget Nartey claimed their first titles in 2024 after both players won their singles game at the National tennis center, Accra, over the weekend.
Daniel Laryea won the maiden edition of the Champions Bowl Wheelchair tournament. He raised a standing ovation on the center court as he sealed a thrilling victory over Razak Nuhu in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.
Speaking to ghanatennistv, Daniel said, winning the champions Bowl Wheelchair tennis tournament I think is the pinnacle of tennis.
Koforidua based Bridget Nartey won all the round-robin games to emerge as the winner of the women’s singles.
Bridget continues her dominance in the Ghana wheelchair tennis women’s category after beating Stacy Konadu Mensah.
Vice President of Ghana Tennis Federation Cedric Dzelu said, the Federation is happy to partner Zion Management Sports Agency to successfully host this three-day event. The Association is very ready to partner with any Foundation for the upliftment of Ghana Tennis.
